Happy 18th Birthday, my unbiological daughter Manya ! 🎉 As you step into adulthood today, I wanted to take a moment to write to you and share my thoughts.

Today marks a significant milestone in your life. As you step into adulthood while exploring the new adventure of studying abroad, I find myself reflecting on the beautiful memories we’ve shared and the bright future you are building. As I did for Tanjal when she turned 18, writing this letter to you feels like the perfect way to express my feelings and offer a few words of advice for this exciting chapter of your life. Knowing you all these years, I am sure you will take some of these seriously.

We Miss Your Spark!

Manu, your laughter and sense of humour have always been the heartbeat of our gatherings. You are our source of endless Instagram reels featuring MOSTLY INSANE! Whether it's your witty comebacks or your mimicry of others, you have the power to brighten even the dullest days. Life feels a little quieter without you around, and we often catch ourselves reminiscing about the joyful energy you bring by just looking through those videos in our phone gallery. The house isn’t the same without your cheerful chaos when you come for stayovers, and every family event feels like it’s missing something special. Though you’re miles away, I am sure you’re spreading that same warmth and charm wherever you go.

Remember, your light shines far and wide, and it’s something that the world needs more of.

Welcoming the Challenge of Life Abroad

Moving to a foreign land for studies is no small feat. It’s a journey filled with challenges, but it’s also one that will bring you immense growth. Each obstacle you face is an opportunity to learn resilience and independence. There will be moments of doubt, homesickness, and struggle, but remember, every great story begins with overcoming challenges. This period will serve as the foundation of your future, shaping you into a stronger, more capable version of yourself.

Take every new experience as a chance to learn, and let the unfamiliar become your teacher. Build connections, learn people skills, cherish your small victories, and know that every step, no matter how difficult, is bringing you closer to your dreams. Remember, you have an army of loved ones cheering you on from miles away.

Staying True to Yourself

In this new environment, you’ll meet people from different walks of life and experience diverse cultures. While it’s wonderful to learn and grow, always stay rooted in your values. Be open-minded but never lose sight of who you are. Let your kindness, strength, and integrity guide you through this journey. And most importantly, trust yourself. You are more capable than you realize, and you’ll find that the qualities that make you uniquely MANYA as you are, will help you shine even in the most unfamiliar places.

Never hesitate to ask for help when you need it. It’s a sign of strength, not weakness. And no matter how far you are, we’re always just a call away, ready to support you in every way possible. We’re here to celebrate your successes and lift you up whenever you need it.

As I write this, I feel a mix of emotions—pride, love, and a tinge of longing. You’ve grown into such an inspiring young woman, and I’m confident that you’ll make the most of this new phase of your life. Watching you chase your dreams fills my heart with joy, even if it means having to miss you a little longer.

So here’s to you, Manya—to your dreams, your strength, and the amazing journey ahead. Welcome it all with an open heart, and never forget how deeply loved you are.

Happy 18th Birthday! Wishing you love, laughter, and endless success in all that you do. Can't wait to see you soon in a few days.

“Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take, but by the moments that take our breath away. Keep creating those moments, Manya.”

With all my heart,

Chintan Uncle
