As the clock struck midnight last night and as I woke up this morning, the Sun from the large glass windows of my bedroom appeared quite different. Basking in the soft sun rays this morning, as I welcome this milestone year of 2025, I find myself reflecting on a journey spanning almost 26 years of my professional career.

This New Year 2025 feels different. It’s not just a new chapter; it’s a brand-new book, ready to be filled with fresh adventures, opportunities, and challenges.

Looking back, the past 26 years have been nothing short of extraordinary. Every role I undertook, every challenge I faced, and every milestone I achieved shaped me into the person I am today. I am deeply grateful for the experiences that moulded my career — the colleagues who became lifelong friends, the mentors who guided me, and even the setbacks that taught me resilience and adaptability. These moments are the building blocks of my fulfilling career, and I cherish each one.

One of the most profound lessons I’ve learned is the power of persistence. There were days when the challenges seemed insurmountable, when the goals appeared distant, and when doubts crept in. Yet, it was the unwavering belief in growth, combined with consistent effort, that helped me overcome those hurdles.

Alongside persistence, I have discovered the importance of gratitude. Pausing to appreciate the journey, rather than just the destination has added depth and meaning to my professional life.

As I turn the page to this new chapter, I am filled with excitement and optimism. The future, as uncertain as it may be, holds endless possibilities. With change comes growth, and I am ready to embrace both. This is a time for me to innovate, to step out of my comfort zone, and to apply the wealth of knowledge and experience I’ve accumulated over the years in new and impactful ways.

The idea of starting fresh is both exhilarating and humbling. Exhilarating because the horizon is vast, open and humbling because I recognise that the journey ahead will demand continuous learning, unlearning, and relearning. But isn’t that the essence of life? To evolve, adapt, and thrive in the face of change? If you have watched the movie "12th Fail" where at every failure, Gauri Bhaiya says - RESTART- RESTART and for me it is a different way of RESTART.

To everyone who have walked alongside me in my professional journey, my colleagues, customers, suppliers & everyone around, I extend my heartfelt gratitude. Your support, encouragement, and camaraderie have been invaluable. And to those who will be part of this next chapter, I look forward to the shared experiences, the collaborative successes, and the lessons we will learn together.

As I step into this new phase, I carry with me a simple yet powerful mantra: Be grateful for the past, be present in the now, and be hopeful for the future. Here’s to embracing challenges, fostering growth, and creating a legacy that inspires.

Wishing everyone a New Year filled with hope, health, and happiness. Let’s make it a remarkable one!
